    Who you’ll be working with:
    Hi, My name is Eshan Panigrahi, and I’m the Senior Manager of Commercial & Supply Chain accounting here at Mejuri. In my role I am responsible for leading our Commercial & Supply Chain accounting team and be an active business partner for our Commercial/Supply Chain team. I recently joined Mejuri in 2022, and I’m enticed by the growth potential and amazing culture.
    I’m looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Commercial Accounting team. In this role, you will help Mejuri grow, meet its business objectives and work cross-functionally. We are looking for someone who is excited about process improvement and is passionate about being a trusted advisor to the Commercial team.
    The role:
    As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and reporting. Reporting to a Senior Manager, Accounting (Commercial and Supply Chain Accounting), you will work alongside the accounting, FP&A, eCommerce/Retail, and Data/Technology teams to improve accuracy and insights, reduce close timeline and create efficiencies in processes. This role also involves significant cross-department collaboration and communication. You are passionate about solving problems and are motivated by a fast-paced, high growth environment. You will contribute to a top-tier team that proactively drives continuous improvement and works with a collaborative mentality.

    What you’ll do:

      • Lead the timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting process and all associated activities that impact Revenue.
      • Own technical accounting related to Revenue. Provide recommendations consistent with corporate accounting principles and procedures in full compliance with GAAP.
      • Partner cross-functionally with Retail, Logistics, Data/Technology business unit leaders in a proactive and consultative manner to plan for new business initiatives and operational changes.
      • Drive improvements to increase efficiencies, enhance processes and lead the implementation of new financial systems that automate activities and reduce reporting timelines within the areas of Revenue.
      • Design, implement, and maintain internal revenue controls for key processes to support external compliance.
      • Act as liaison to the external auditors for relevant financial statement sections and other external service providers and own the successful completion of the year-end audit and other assurance engagements, as required.

    What you bring to the team:

      • CPA with experience in analyzing, interpreting and providing recommendations related to accounting guidance over revenue (ASPE 3400).
      • 3 years industry experience outside of public accounting.
      • Strong knowledge of and experience with Retail and eCommerce businesses
      • Experience working cross-functionally across divisions and levels
      • Prior experience driving and scaling complex, cross-functional, data intensive processes
      • Experience in managing and implementing revenue reporting including manual and automated order to cash reconciliation processes

    Things we consider an asset:

      • Experience implementing ERP/O2C automation systems.
      • Experience with Looker and BI tools.
