    Full Job Description

    As the Junior Banking Clerk, you will provide support to our various accounting functions, including treasury, accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records and reconciling discrepancies

    Key Relationships: The Junior Banking Clerk will report to the Manager, Treasury.

    Location: The ideal candidate will be based out of our Vancouver location.

    At a high level you will:

    • Conducts data entry and reconciliation management for accounting records including treasury, accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable in a high transaction volume level environment.
    • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems, including AP, AR, external vendors and customers, and various banks.
    • Reviews credit card statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
    • Enters wire payments into online banking platforms, checks for accuracy and documents proof check.
    • Distributes banking reports as directed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Who You Are

    We would love to hear from you if you have:

    • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
    • Good mathematical skills.
    • Good verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Advanced Excel (hotkey use a bonus)
    • Organized and comfortable self-scheduling

    It would be an added bonus if you have:

    • Previous bank reconciliation experience is a positive
    • Previous cash flow forecasting is an advantage
