Job Description

  • Busy mechanical construction company in Burnaby looking for someone to join our team to help with purchasing and coordination of our projects. This job will appeal to someone that enjoys staying busy, learning new things and making an important contribution to the success of a team. In this role you will assist our purchaser by helping with quotations, assisting with requisitions from our field staff, expediting material from suppliers to various locations, researching and locating products required by our clients, contacting couriers as needed to help mobilize jobs, helping other departments as time permits and more. Some purchasing experience and experience with industrial construction would be very helpful. This is a very interesting job that could lead to larger opportunities within the company for the right individual. We are located close to sky train and transit.

    Experience with piping, valves, gaskets and other aspects of the industry would be considered an asset.

    Part time working hours are a possibility to the right candidate.
