    Know our team

    Nutrition International’s Corporate Services (CS) unit is a dedicated team of Finance and Administrative experts with extensive global experience. The unit leads on providing global Accounting, Finance, Budget, and Compliance, Contracting and Procurement, Facilities management, and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT). Currently, Nutrition International is seeking applications for a Finance Officer to be based in Ottawa, Canada.

    About you

    You are someone with college diploma or university degree in accounting, finance or business or equivalent experience. You have a minimum of three years’ experience in an accounting environment. You are experienced in analyzing data and information and adapting procedures to accommodate new or unusual situations and have sound technical and professional knowledge of finance and accounting.

    Fluency in English is required. French will be considered an asset.

    About the role

    In this role you will:

    • Prepares accounts payable entries for Asia Region and Headquarters (HQ) Operational payments.
    • Creates GL accounts, vendor & MDA codes as required.
    • Prepares bank reconciliations for Asia region and HQ accounts
    • Prepares credit card reconciliations for HQ
    • Issues travel authorizations for staff and consultants and maintains TA log.
    • Reviews travel authorizations and issues advances.
    • Assists in the preparation of various year-end worksheets and account analysis.
