Job Description

  • Do you enjoy working with a team to improve the quality of software releases? Are you in your element collaborating with developers and business analysts? This is an opportunity to use your experience to maintain and improve the quality of PSCL’s best-in-class software products by designing test cases, suites and automating deployment and testing tools. PSCL is implementing infrastructure as code – this role considers basic python scripting for automated test cases, deployment and evaluation of results.

    We’re seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to join our team to help us move forward with some new and challenging projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Understand the scope of projects and work with developers and project support teams
    • Perform stress, performance, functional and scalability testing
    • Write and execute test scripts
    • Write manual and automated tests
    • Test in different environments including web and mobile
    • Write bug reports
    • Provide objective feedback to the development team

    To be successful you will need…

    • 1+ years’ experience developing automated testing for desktop and web environments
    • 1-3 years’ experience in software testing
    • Understanding of networking and database support
    • Experience with end-user support and training
    • A degree or diploma in Computer Science. Software development and/or testing coursework are an asset
    • 2+years working in a Scrum team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail – must be well organized
