Job Description

  • POSITION:Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – CNS (6-month contract)REPORTS TO:

    Sr. Marketing Manager, CNS

    LOCATION:

    Quebec

    TRAVEL:

    Approximately 25%

    DESCRIPTION: The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative is primarily responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, and driving brand awareness to achieve results to sales quotas. This position will also actively participate in the planning and execution of brand marketing activities including generating awareness, other learning activities and continuing health education activities for existing targeted customers. The Pharmaceutical Sales Rep will become a product expert capable of advising doctors about the purpose and benefits of the products. This role will require an understanding of how doctors use different types of drugs to treat patients with illnesses or improve health. This position will primarily call on General Practitioners (GPs), and community specialists in Montreal, Quebec city, and the surrounding communities.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Develop sales opportunities by calling on (target) physicians and health care professionals

    · Gain market share by focusing on strong sales execution, maintaining high reach and frequency of calls on customers and demonstrating strong product knowledge

    · Monitor and analyze data and market trends to identify competitive advantages

    · Keep accurate records, daily call logs and expense reports

    · Support marketing efforts to include developing and implementing marketing strategies

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • University degree in marketing, communications, business, BScN or equivalent

    • Some knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
    • High level of integrity and strong work ethic
    • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales position is a must
    • Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships

    · Effective selling and negotiation skills

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) is a must

    · Must be bilingual in English and French

    · Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 6 months

    Salary: $82,067.74-$124,532.91 per year
