As a Business Analyst, you will bring your extensive experience with (and passion for!) clinical workflows and IT implementation in a healthcare setting to contribute to our mission to improve healthcare delivery and innovation across the country by working with the latest technologies in a fast-paced environment to improve integrated digital health ecosystems.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and translate customer needs into suggested workflow solutions in the CHR
• Work collaboratively with team members to develop and deliver standardized configuration solutions to address complex workflow needs of existing and new customers
• Prepare recommendations and/or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvements in physician offices operations.
• Exercise sound judgment identifying and resolving problems, challenging courses of action, assessing risks and modifying plans as conditions change throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze gaps between requirements and available solutions, document results of analysis in appropriate format including business rules, workflow descriptions and test cases
• Advocate customer needs and ideas internally and work collaboratively with other teams to achieve outcomes and results for customers
• Work closely with data and analytics teams to develop custom data points and dashboards which enhance workflows and deliver actionable insights to CHR customers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues/resolving conflicts
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and follow work progress in project management software
• Work in a dynamic team environment work to promote a customer first culture

What you bring:

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

• A graduate or undergraduate degree in business administration, health informatics, health information science, engineering, computer science, health management, clinical profession or related discipline

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, within tight timelines, and the ability to prioritize requests/workload is essential
• Quick learner, self-starter and accountable
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows in healthcare settings
• Previous EMR experience is an asset
• You are collaborative and maintain strong communication and a collaborative approach with your stakeholders
• You have an eye for service excellence and enjoy enhancing, rethinking and innovating current processes
• You have a passion for deeply understanding customer needs and challenges
• You enjoy a continuously changing, fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated capacity for problem solving, analytics, and making sound recommendations to key stakeholders

Great to haves:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience of a clinical, technical implementation, or data related role
• Experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on clinical system / IT implementation is desirable
• Experience with BI/Analytics is considered an asset
