Job Description

  • Do you enjoy cleaning and being a part of your community? If so, Waterford Services is currently looking for cleaners to join our team of Cleaning Specialists.We’re hiring Cleaning Specialists (cleaners) for a campus at 9600 Bathurst Street in Vaughan. Free parking is available onsite.

    We are hiring for the following schedule:

    • Female Locker Room Attendant: Monday – Friday 12:30pm-8:00pm / 35 hours per week (full-time)
    • Light Duty cleaner: Monday – Thursday 4:15pm-10:45pm, Sundays 1:00pm-9:00pm / 31.5 hours per week (full-time)

    Job responsibilities include:

    • General building cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
    • Washroom cleaning including toilets, sinks, mirrors, faucets, countertops, and floors.
    • Emptying waste and recycling containers and relining with a fresh bag.
    • Elevator, escalator, and stairwell cleaning.
    • Attend to gym/pool locker rooms to collect towels for laundering and keep space tidy and dry.
    • Other cleaning related tasks as assigned by your Supervisor.

    Qualifications to apply include:

    • Great attitude and friendly personality.
    • Relatable cleaning experience.
    • Enjoy cleaning and the satisfaction of a job well done.
    • Excellent communicator.
    • Ability to lift, walk, climb stairs, and stand for several hours.
    • Confidence using a smartphone and navigating the internet.
